Sergeant | Carolyn Stevenson
Over 29 years of experience in law enforcement with the Dallas Police Department and Dallas College District Patrol, community policing, special investigations, gang unit, and social service units Involved in the Explorer program, Special Olympics, Cops and Kids, and Junior Police Academy. Master Texas Peace Officer. Associate of Arts- Tarrant County Community College. Police Chaplin, Eastern Star, and Zeta Phi Beta.
Sergeant| Guy Cannon
Sergeant Cannon has been around law enforcement most of his life. Starting as a 13-year-old Explorer with the Dallas Police Department Police officer with several Dallas area law enforcement agencies.
Owns and operations a small public safety business.
Attended University of Texas Arlington and Dallas Colleges.
Lieutenant | Armando Perez
Over 30 years of experience in law enforcement with the Dallas Police Department
Patrol, Police Personnel, Vice, Internal Affairs, Narcotics, Intelligence, and Homicide
Police Academy Coordinator and adjunct instructor for Cedar Valley College. A licensed private investigator with his own agency. Master Texas Peace Officer. Bachelor of Science degree from Abilene Christian University. Fluent Spanish speaker.
Corporal | Ricardo Campbell
Corporal Campbell brings a vast background of law enforcement experiences following an over 30-year career with the Dallas Police Department.
During his tenure with the Dallas Police Department, he spent many years as a patrol officer, and working community events and activities.
Corporal Campbell attended Dallas’ El Centro College. He is a Texas-certified Master Peace officer and State certified law enforcement instructor.
His volunteer work includes activities at his church and with the volunteer Superhero group that he operates called Heroes, Cops, and Kids.
The group attends community events and area hospitals to bring fun and enjoyment to many.
Corporal | Tricia Allen
Corporal Tricia Allen comes to the A+ Charter Schools Police Department after a successful career with the Dallas Police Department where she served for 17 years.
She served as a patrol officer, field training officer, and detective during her time with Dallas.
She was the recipient of 58 awards or commendations.
She has been a professional golfer with the LPGA and a collegiate athlete.

Police Officer | Zane Braggs
Police Officer Zane Braggs comes to the A+ Charter Schools Police Department after a successful 24-year career with the Texas Department of Public Safety. He is a graduate of Dallas Skyline High School and Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, where he was a collegiate wrestler. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Waldorf. Police Officer Braggs is the department’s firearms, less-than-lethal force, and defensive tactics instructor.

Police Officer | Troy Klingsmith
Troy Klingsmith brings a vast background of law enforcement experiences following a 30-year career with the Dallas Police Department.
During his tenure with Dallas, he spent many years as a canine officer leading up to his retirement in February 2021.
Corporal Klingsmith has a bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and has been Texas certified Master Peace officer since the fall of 2006.
Police Officer | Aliyah Mack
Police Officer Aliyah Mack wanted to be a police officer as a young child.
She started her law enforcement career in detention services with the Plano Police Department and with the Cheatham County Georgia Sheriff’s Department.
Following graduation from the Cedar Valley Police Academy, she worked for the Wylie Police Department.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Strayer University in Savannah, GA.
Police Officer | Daniela Geddie
Police Officer Daniela Geddie come to the A+ Charter Schools Police Department from the Rowlett Police Department.
She graduated from the Cedar Valley Police Academy.
Officer Geddie has been assigned as a roving police officer working in both elementary schools and intermediate and Early Education centers.
This assignment has allowed her to gain a solid understanding of our campus operations and students.
She is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Police Officer | Nicholas Scrubb
Police Officer Nick Scrubb has had the desire to work in a school setting for a long time and finally acted upon it with the A+ Charter School Police Department.
He comes to us after working as a street officer for the southwest Dallas area City of Cockrell Hill Police Department.
Nick is a graduate of the Cedar Valley Police Academy and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Police Officer | Zaida Martinez
Police Officer Zaida Martinez joined the A+ Charter School Police Department after spending time with the Little Elm Police Department.
She has also worked in a dentist’s office and at the Terrell ISD.
She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas and attended Dallas College.
She is a graduate of Cedar Valley Police Academy.
She is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Police Officer | Tequila Williams
Police Officer Tequila Williams has been a police officer in Sachse, Texas, and Sampson Park before joining the A+ Charter Schools Police Department.
She worked for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department for seven years.
She grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from the Evolution Academy in Richardson, TX., and attended Remington College.
She graduated from the Cedar Valley Police Academy.
Police Officer | Ibeth Lopez
Police Officer Ibeth Lopez comes to the A+ Charter Schools Police Department after a very successful career with the Dallas Police Department.
Officer Lopez has extensive patrol experience and working with our students and staff.
Officer Lopez attends many of our sporting events and works on all our campuses.
She attended the University of Texas Arlington and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Campus Monitors are responsible to help ensure safety and security on our campuses. Monitors are trained in crisis intervention, CPR, bleeding control, and crisis response. They will be vigilant in monitoring for unauthorized visitors, disorderly or disruptive behaviors, and overall campus safety and security. Monitors are required to use good judgment while enforcing district rules and regulations per established guidelines.

Campus Monitor Salvador Cermenio has excelled in his role where he has been with the A+ Charter Schools for over 19 years.
He knows almost every student in the Inspired Vision Secondary and is always on the guard for any problems and quick to act.
He graduated from Dallas Sunset High School and has worked for the Dallas Stars and Mavericks for several years.
Campus Monitor | Demetra Anthony
Campus Monitor Demetra Anthony comes to A+ Charter Schools after working for a private security company that provided security services to the district.
She has over twelve years of experience working in basic safety and security.
She enjoys working at the elementary school and during the fall of 2022 when the State of Texas sent people to test campus access control Ms. Anthony observed the ‘intruder’ on the district video surveillance system and confronted the person in the parking lot.
Ms. Anthony is very dependable and completely dedicated to the safety of our students and staff.
Campus Monitor | Dania Tuvi
Campus Monitor Dania Tuvi comes to A+ Charter Schools from the Plano ISD where she was a monitor.
She graduated from Plano Senior High School.
Monitor Tuvi has done a great job interacting with students and interceding in potential conflict.
Campus Monitor | Hayre Tuvi
Campus Monitor Hayre Tuvi has a long line of work in the safety and security industry.
He immigrated to the United States from Iraq in the 1980s and has been involved in security work since.
Monitor Tuvi is very attentive to his duties and has a strong campus awareness of activities or visitors.
A+ Charter Schools are very lucky to have him as a campus monitor.
Campus Monitor | Karen Perez
Campus Monitor Karen Perez has extensive experience with the Honduras National Police Department as a detective where she worked in the homicide unit.
Before becoming a Monitor, she was a teaching aide at A+ Elementary School.
Monitor Perez is a natural at being a monitor and devotes her attention to campus awareness, safety, and security.
She is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Campus Monitor |Dr. Alicia Thomas
Dr. Alicia Thomas comes to the A+ Charter Schools after working in the financial and risk management industry for many years.
She has worked in a school environment in the past for the Terrell ISD and as a behavioral technician.
She graduated from Grand Canyon University and obtained her doctorate in Leadership in the spring of 2022.
