Dr. Brenton White | Superintendent/CEO
Growing up in an area with limited options. Dr. Brenton White learned at a young age that his success in life was going to depend on the cultivation of his intelligence and talents through hard work and education. This helped build his roots in the belief that education can, and does, transform lives, and he goes to work every day with the intent of helping others succeed through quality education.
Dr. White was born in Kansas, and came to Dallas, Texas at the age of 10. He left for Boston in 1990, armed with a full scholarship to Boston University, where he studied Classical Voice with Richard Cassilly, and earned his Bachelor's Degree in 1994. He then received his Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California, where he studied Jazz Voice with Michelle Wier and Sean Holt. He completed the Principal Certification Program at UNT in 2014. He completed his Doctorate Ed. D. in Educational Leadership- K-12 Leadership Concentration from Dallas Baptist University. He has worked in education for 20+ years, having spent time teaching in the classroom, serving as a principal, and serving as an administrator.
He is also an active advocate for his community as a Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce Board Member, a member of the Southeast Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, an Advisor Council Member of the Salvation army in Pleasant Grove, and a Board Member of the Kiwanis Clun of Pleasant Grove.
Dr. White has been married to his amazing wife, Tina White, for 24 years in December, and they have three children, Kalamarie, Brenton, and William. Dr. white loves spending time with his family, and enjoys learning about old cars, planes, and other objects with interesting historical stories, as well as shooting videos, and polishing his photography skills.
Dr. Kelree Brasseaux | Deputy Superintendent
Dr. Brasseaux is a distinguished veteran educator with experience in both public and private education. She began her education career over 30 years ago in Louisiana. Five years later, she and her family moved to North Texas where she resumed her career in the North Dallas suburbs.
During this time, Dr. Brasseaux rose steadily through the ranks of leadership, serving as teacher, department chair, assistant principal, principal, central office administrator, and regional office administrator in highly recognized districts of excellence. She was able to lead teams that featured servant leadership while fostering high student expectations. Dr. Brasseaux, served the students and teachers of Allen ISD, McKinney ISD, and the Region 10 Educational Service Center, where she was one of only 20 Texas Teacher Reading Liaisons, appointed by the Texas Education Agency to serve throughout the entire state of Texas. She has also served as an adjunct professor at both Texas A&M-Commerce, and Concordia Universities as one of their distinguished professors in Educational Leadership.
Dr. Brasseaux holds a Doctorate in Supervision, Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master’s in Education from Texas A&M. In addition, she holds a Superintendent Certification from the University of North Texas. She also holds two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, one in Elementary Education, and one in Finance.
Her proudest accomplishment, though, is being a wife and mother. She and her husband, Steve, a Telecommunications engineer, have been married for almost 40 years. Their son, Eric, is a Southern Methodist University graduate and is completing his doctorate degree in Dentistry. Lauren, their daughter, a University of North Texas graduate, is an educator in Frisco ISD and is completing her Master’s in Counseling. Lauren, and her husband, Samuel, have given Dr. Brasseaux and her husband, two beautiful grandchildren, which are the light of Dr. Brasseaux’s world.
