WELCOME TO OUR HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT!

Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities with A+ Charter Schools.

Please visit the links to the right to browse job openings and apply for a position.

The goal of A+ Charter Schools is to recruit and retain well-qualified employees to support our mission of meeting the individual learning needs of all students. We believe that all students deserve an education that prepares them for success in an institute of higher learning, and further believe that the greatest factors in providing that level of education are a strong, coherent curriculum, and a staff that implements exceptional instructional practices.

We invite applicants to apply for substitute positions along with permanent positions. Signing up as a substitute doesn't hurt your chances of being offered a permanent job with the district.  Getting involved as a substitute allows for the opportunity of on-the-job training, while working in a variety of interesting positions, and meeting colleagues with a variety of experience and insight throughout all of our locations. It has been found that experience as a substitute often prepares an individual for permanent placement.

A+ Charter Schools does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, gender, marital status, creed, religion, honorably discharged veteran, or military status.

Public Information Request:

A+ Charter School, Inc. recognizes that Texas law gives the public the right to access certain government records that are otherwise not exempted from disclosure, and that the law contains guidelines for the timeframe in which we must respond to requests for information.

Please understand that, due to the current federal and state emergency declarations related to COVID-19 (the Coronavirus), our school’s normal school operations have been suspended and we are currently operating with a skeleton crew.

Moreover, on March 19, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott signed an order closing all schools throughout the State of Texas beginning at 11:59pm on March 20, 2020 and at the time of this posting, continuing through at least 11:59pm on May 20, 2020.

The Attorney General recognizes that days when public bodies are closed and skeleton crew days are not counted as business days for the purposes of calculating response deadlines under the Texas Public Information Act.

For these reasons, we currently are not processing open record requests. We will resume processing requests within the timeframe required by state law once school reopens and we have more than a skeleton crew available at our school facilities.
