Understanding Accountability in Texas

The 2026 A–F Accountability Ratings have been released by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Texas’ A–F Accountability System provides families and communities with information about how public schools and districts are supporting student achievement, academic growth, and preparation for future success.

A+ Charter Schools remains committed to reviewing these results, celebrating areas of progress, and using the data to identify opportunities for continued growth and improvement across our district.

Moving Forward

Our district has experienced areas of growth, and we are proud of the progress made by our students and staff. At the same time, we recognize that there is important work ahead and remain focused on continuous improvement.

As we continue strengthening teaching and learning across our schools, key areas of focus include:

• Supporting students in developing strong extended constructed responses
• Improving student achievement in mathematics
• Increasing English language proficiency for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students

These accountability ratings are one measure of school performance and provide valuable information that helps guide our continued improvement efforts. We are committed to working together with our students, families, educators, and community to provide every student with the support and opportunities needed to succeed.
