C&I- Testing & Assessments

State and District Assessment

At A+ Charter Schools, we are committed to providing a comprehensive and transparent approach to student assessments. We recognize that assessments play an essential role in evaluating student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that our students are prepared for academic success.

State Assessments

State assessments are designed to measure students' proficiency in key subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science, in alignment with state standards. These assessments help us understand how students are performing in relation to statewide expectations and inform our instructional decisions.

Our students participate in state assessments at designated times during the academic year. The specific dates for these assessments are set by the state, and we ensure that students have the resources and support they need to succeed.

District Assessments

In addition to state assessments, A+ Charter Schools administer district-wide assessments at various points throughout the year. These assessments help us track student progress, identify learning gaps, and provide timely interventions if necessary. Our district assessments are aligned with our curriculum and ensure that we are consistently monitoring student growth.

Keeping families informed regarding state testing results is an important task for the testing community. TEA has developed resources to support districts with this process. The resources help guide parents and guardians to their children’s STAAR results as they are released. Visit the Texas Education Agency Log In & Learn More webpage to access one-page flyers, email templates, social media posts and pictures, and more. Information is available in both English and Spanish.
