Child Find

It is the policy of A+ Charter Schools, Inc., open-enrollment charter school to ensure that all student with disabilities enrolled in the charter school or who contact the charter school regarding enrollment, regardless of the severity of their disability, and who are in need of special education and related services, are identified, located, and evaluated.

If you suspect an infant, child or young adult of having a disability, your school can open a window of hope for a brighter future. Services at no cost to the family are available to all eligible individuals from birth through 21 years of age regardless of the severity of their disability. A+ Charter Schools, Inc. has special services available for eligible infants, children, and young adults that are identified with disabilities who may be experiencing difficulties in one or more of the following areas: 

  •           Intellectual Disability
  •           Auditory Impairment
  •           Visual Impairment
  •           Speech or Language Impairment
  •           Emotional disturbance
  •           Orthopedic impairment
  •           Other health impairment
  •           Traumatic brain injury
  •           Deaf-blindness
  •           Specific Learning Disability
  •           Autism
  •           Noncategorical Early Childhood
  •           Multiple Disabilities
