Dr. Brenton White

Growing up in an area with limited options, Dr. Brenton White learned at a young age that his success in life was going to depend on the cultivation of his intelligence and talents through hard work and education. This helped build his roots in the belief that education can, and does, transform lives, and he goes to work every day with the intent of helping others succeed through quality education.

Dr. White was born in Kansas, and came to Dallas, Texas at the age of 10. He left for Boston in 1990, armed with a full scholarship to Boston University, where he studied Classical Voice with Richard Cassilly, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1994. He then received his Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California, where he studied Jazz Voice with Michelle Wier and Sean Holt. He completed the Principal Certification Program in 2006, and completed the Superintendent Certification Program at UNT in 2014. He recently completed his Doctorate Ed. D in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. He has worked in education for 20+ years, having spent time teaching in the classroom, serving as a principal, and serving as an administrator.

He is also an active advocate for his community as a Southeast Dallas Chamber of Commerce Board Member, a member of the Southeast Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, an Advisor Council Member of the Salvation Army in Pleasant Grove, and a Board Member of the Kiwanis Club of Pleasant Grove.

Dr. White has been married to his amazing wife, Tina White, for 18 years, and they have three children, Kalamarie, Brenton, and William. Brenton loves spending time with his family, and enjoys learning about old cars, planes, and other objects with interesting historical stories, as well as shooting videos, and polishing his photography skills.
